Grey's Anatomy

Think Game of Thrones. A medical Game of Thrones, that is. Then, mash it up with How I Met Your Mother’s famous life lessons and one liners. Boom! Prepare your box of tissues. Trust me, shirt sleeves won’t suffice.

Grey’s Anatomy is the longest running primetime medical drama on television in the world. With 16 seasons, it also happens to be the longest series available to stream on Netflix. Don’t be overwhelmed with the number of episodes though! There’s no slowing down once you press that play button.

The show follows the life of Meredith Grey and her fellow surgical interns at Seattle Grace Hospital. Each episode revolves around their professional lives every day as surgeons, while also managing to emphasize the personal impact of their patients’ dilemmas on themselves as human beings. It tells us about all the love, loss, stress, joy, fear, comfort, life, and death that there is to experience in this world.

Nobody knows when we may be able to see each other again. With the threat of this pandemic, we should do our part and stay at home! You’ve got 317 episodes that are each 40 minutes long to keep you company. And if you know me, you’ve probably seen me on social media either being insanely vocal on my love for this show or bawling my eyes out during video calls: both of which prove my point. So, pick me, choose me, love me— I mean, watch Grey’s Anatomy.
