NEWS & UPDATES

Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (Assassination Classroom)

Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (more widely known as Assassination Classroom) is a Japanese anime series following the lives of Class 3-E after a supernatural being steps up to be their teacher. This show perfectly executes the combination of comedy, drama, and plot. While most episodes focus on displaying humor with quick slapstick comedy and jokes that have become running gags in the fanbase, it still has much plot that people can follow. What makes this series so lovable is a perfect mix of story and shenanigans.

The students of Class 3-E have their own quirks, all of them having depth to their character. While it doesn’t focus on every character individually (rather it focuses on the class as a whole), it still gives the students and the teachers their own time to shine. As the story progresses, 3-E gradually learns how crucial it is to work together as a class and to never give up no matter how many times you fail.

It has a lot of content to consume. The manga is complete with a total of 21 volumes, and the anime series has 2 seasons (with 47 episodes in total), which were released in 2015 and 2016. Despite the first season being released 5 years ago, the series still manages to garner new fans around the world (I myself am still part of its fanbase). It’s a great series to binge on Netflix during your free time and is definitely worth watching.
